“#GirlBoss – is not just a book, it’s a movement” – when you read that kind of review from Forbes, it catches your attention.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sophia Amoruso – the founder of Nasty Gal, a clothing company that changed the retail game. The author of the book #GIRLBOOS, that became a movement all over the internet and inspired so many young women. The girl from L.A. started her own business selling vintage clothing on eBay and build an empire before turning 30. Her rules of success became a guide to every young and aspiring woman. From the wallflower to the CEO of her own business. Even when facing a bankruptcy she remained steady and started a new #girlboss project that grows faster every day. You can also listen to her podcast #girlbossradio where she interviews many women CEOs about the business, success and the journey to it.

    ABOUT THE BOOK

Before reading the book I thought that it will be just another book full of clichés. After all, how many books about business are written? And how many of them really impressed you? Exactly. Not many.

But since the first page, I understood that this book was different. It was kind of sarcastic, funny and very, very realistic. Usually, people do not talk about that kind of stuff loudly. But the author Sophia Amoruso was different. Different in a weird but very familiar way. She is you. The same girl struggling with difficulties, sometimes low self-esteem and at the same time trying to figure herself out.

If you are starting your own business this is the must-read book. Not because it’s going to inspire you or advise you on how to become a billionaire, but mostly because it teaches you how to be the best version of yourself. The main key to success.

OUR KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS BOOK
    • Don’t take yourself too seriously, but your business - always.
    • Perfectionism in the smallest things is the key to success.
    • If you have lots of money – doesn’t mean you have to spend them. Keep your finance strict.
    • Do what you deeply feel is going to work, do not go someone else’s path.
    • Always look at your business and an outfit from a different angle.
    • Don’t live like a CEO if you are still just a sandwich artist.
